It is mainly used to improve the bonding performance of the surfaces of organic and inorganic materials, such as the treatment of glass fibers in fiberglass reinforced plastics and siliceous fillers in plastics, rubbers, paints and coatings. It is also used in adhesives to enhance bonding performance. The resins it is suitable for include epoxy, phenolic, melamine, polysulfide polyurethane, polystyrene, etc.
