4 4 '- diaminodiphenyl sulfone is an important aromatic sulfone compound refined by high temperature and high pressure ammonification reaction. It is mainly used in the synthesis of polysulfone amide resins and other polymer synthetic materials, as well as the synthesis of various acidic azo dyes and disperse dyes.

4 4 '- Diaminodiphenylsulfone can be used as a curing agent for epoxy resin and insulation material in the electrical industry, textile equipment, and as a catalyst. It can also be used in the pharmaceutical industry to treat leprosy, herpes like dermatitis, AIDS, and other conditions.
