9-fluorenone is an important organic synthetic intermediate that can be used to manufacture various fine chemicals, mainly used as a modifier for the synthesis of polymer materials, bisphenol fluorene, fluorenylbenzoxazine resin, acrylic resin, polyester, polycarbonate, and epoxy resin.
In the laboratory, fluorene is used as the raw material, dimethyl sulfoxide as the solvent, sodium hydroxide as the catalyst, and oxygen as the oxidant. A tower packed reactor is used for the oxidation reaction. The reaction solution is cooled and filtered to obtain crude fluorenone with a content of 93%. The filtrate can be distilled to recover 94% of the solvent and a portion of the crude fluorenone. Crude fluorenone can be refined by directional crystallization to obtain yellow flaky fluorenone with a purity of over 99.8%.
Packed in 25 kg per drum or based on customers' requirements.
