1. Dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL) CAS 77-58-7 is widely used as a catalyst in polyurethane production, which facilitates the reaction between isocyanate and polyol.

2. Dibutyltin dilaurate is also used in the synthesis of silicone polymers to promote the curing process.

3. Dibutyltin dilaurate CAS 77-58-7 can be used in the formulation of coatings, adhesives and sealants to aid in the curing and hardening process.

4. It is used in the production of certain plastics to enhance the polymerization process.

5. In some cases, it has been used in agricultural formulations, although its use is regulated due to environmental and health concerns.
