1.It is widely used in automobile coatings, color steel plate coatings, can coatings, enameled wire and home appliance coatings.

2.It is also an important intermediate of fine chemicals, and used in the preparation of polyester resin, adhesive, synthetic fiber, membrane materials, etc.

Solvent: It is commonly used as a solvent in various chemical processes and formulations, especially in the production of coatings, adhesives and inks.   Chemical intermediate: Dimethyl glutarate can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other chemicals (including pharmaceuticals and agricultural chemicals).   Plasticizer: It can be used as a plasticizer in plastic production, which helps to improve flexibility and durability.   Flavors and spices: Due to its fruity smell, it can be used to formulate flavors and spices.   Research and Development: It is also used for various research applications in laboratories.

It is soluble in alcohol and ether, insoluble in water. It is an environmentally friendly high boiling point solvent with low volatility, easy flow, safety, non-toxic, photochemical stability and other characteristics.

Stored at a dry, shady, ventilated place.
Container: Store in airtight containers to prevent contamination and evaporation. Use containers made of compatible materials such as glass or certain plastics.

Temperature: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Ideally, store at room temperature or refrigerate if specified.

Ventilation: Make sure the storage area is well ventilated to avoid vapor accumulation.

Incompatibility: Keep away from strong oxidants, acids and bases as they will react with dimethyl glutarate.

Label: Clearly label containers with chemical name, concentration, and hazard information.

Safety Precautions: Please follow the recommendations of the specific Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for handling and storage.
