Glyoxal can be used as a finishing agent for adhesive fibers, insoluble binders for polyvinyl alcohol, starch, as well as raw materials for paints, dyes, and pharmaceuticals; Glyoxal can also be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate, fabric finishing agent, and dye intermediate.

Glyoxal is a raw material for the preparation of imidazole, which is an intermediate for fungicides such as metronidazole and prochloraz. In addition, Glyoxal is mainly used in pharmaceuticals, textiles, building materials, papermaking, daily chemical industry, coatings, and adhesive materials, and can also be used as a dye intermediate.

Insoluble adhesives such as gelatin, animal glue, cheese, anti shrink agents for artificial silk, and organic synthesis. Mainly used in pharmaceuticals, textiles, building materials, papermaking, daily chemical industry, coatings, and adhesive materials, etc.

Glyoxal is a reactive compound and should be stored with care. Here are some general guidelines for storing glyoxal:

1. Store glyoxal in airtight containers made of compatible materials, such as glass or certain plastics. Make sure the container is properly labeled.

2. Please store glyoxal in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ideally, it should be stored at room temperature.

3. Store in a well-ventilated area to prevent vapor accumulation.

4. Avoid storing glyoxal near strong oxidants, acids or bases as it will react with these substances.

5. When handling glyoxal, please use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves and goggles. Make sure you have access to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) so that you can take emergency measures.

6. Dispose of glyoxal and any contaminated materials in accordance with local regulations.
