1.It is mainly used as cigarette filter tip-two plasticizer of cellulose acetate.
2.It is used as flavor and perfume, fixing agent and lubricating base of cosmetics.
3.It is also used as plasticizer and solvent for ink coating, nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose and cellulose acetate butyrate, and used as self hardening agent for moulding sand in casting.
Stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse.
It is miscible with ethanol, ether, benzene, chloroform and other organic solvents, soluble in acetone, insoluble in mineral oil. It is slightly soluble in water.
