Property:Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol is colorless liquid with slight odor and hygroscopic. It is miscible with water, ethanol, ether, acetone, chloroform and benzene, and insoluble in paraffin hydrocarbons.

1.Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol is used in producing succinic acid, pentanediol, tetrahydrofuran, pyran.
2.Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol is used in preparing polyamide plastic, and is good solvent for resin, coating and grease.
3.Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol is used as lubricant, dispersant in printing, etc.
